How billing works

Billing
Card or bank transfer
Choose a plan in Settings and pay by card on file, or choose bank transfer and the invoice is issued at once. Annual invoices carry your purchase order number.
Annual
Pay 10 months, get 12
One approved invoice a year. The two free months are applied on the invoice, not as a credit you have to chase.
Transfers
₦75 per successful transfer
Charged only when an employee is actually paid from inside Janus, on top of the payment provider's own fee. Failed and retried transfers are free.
Trial
30 days, no card
Every new company gets 30 days of Growth and 2 payroll runs to prove the numbers against your last payroll. Nothing is charged until you choose a plan.
Seats
Active employees only
You are billed for employees who are active on the run. Terminated staff drop off at the next cycle.
Changes
Move up or down any month
Plans change at the next billing cycle. Your data, runs and audit log stay exactly where they are.
Partners
Business in Nigeria runs on introductions. We pay for them.
Referral partner
20% of subscription, 12 months
Accountants, HR consultants, auditors, bank relationship managers. You introduce a company; when it goes live and pays, you receive 20% of its subscription for the first 12 months. Paid quarterly by bank transfer against a partner statement. A signed partner letter states the terms so nobody has to remember a favour.
Implementation partner
30% margin, year one
Firms that set clients up and support them month to month. You onboard the client on Starter or Growth and keep a 30% margin for the first 12 months; Janus invoices the client and pays you on the same statement. Existing clients you already run payroll for count.

Is there a setup fee?
No. Starter and Growth are self-serve. Scale includes named onboarding at no extra charge.
Can we pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Choose bank transfer when you pick a plan in Settings; the invoice is issued at once with 14 days to pay. Transfer the amount quoting the invoice number and the account is marked paid when the money lands. Annual invoices carry your PO number.
What counts as an employee?
Anyone active on a payroll run in the billing month. Suspended and terminated employees are not billed after their last run.
What does the transfer fee cover?
The Janus fee on each successful bank transfer made from inside the platform. The payment provider's own fee is separate and shown on every batch.
Do you offer discounts for NGOs or schools?
Ask. We look at each case; the answer is usually yes for registered non-profits.
What happens when the trial ends?
You choose a plan or your data stays read-only. Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged without a choice.
